To bad these tips and tricks are not for the fun and easy viewing of BlogTv.

We have received many emails with people complaining about having to refresh there pages due to the new interactive commercials. When you land in a persons room you can hear them for a few seconds then after the commercial plays you have no sound from the broadcaster. We have learned from the past that when ever BlogTv starts adding new advertising to the site there are ALWAYS problems, and it always seems that the "bugs" are in BlogTv's favor.As some of you know when using internet ads on your site, the sponsors pay per page loaded or ad's seen. Meaning every time you have to refresh your page that counts as one time the commercial has been seen. So when your broadcasting and say you get on average 22 people in your room, when these 22 people have to refresh 4 times in order to hear your show that's 88 times on your show alone that the commercial is viewed, meaning more money for BlogTv.

Many people have complained to BlogTv and us with this problem. If you remember not to long ago it was freezing shows and freezing chat boxes and now with the new interactive commercials they cut the sound off making you have to refresh and making them money probably making up for the PRO accounts that don't see commercials again BlogTv not thinking out there money making strategies.

We know BlogTv is on the hunt for 2 million dollars, but do they have to rip off their traffic to make their money... it looks like it. And they wonder why so many people are leaving BlogTv. Looks like the ad dept. at BlogTv has just as many brains as Kara Hannah, none.

We are looking into who the ad company they use is and let them know whats going on just like we did with the google ads, seems after we contacted Google about the "freezing shows" and F5ing that was going on, they fixed the probalem ASAP. Advertisers don't like to get ripped off.

BlogTv Gives Back: UPDATE

As we reported to you a couple weeks ago, that the BlogTv fundraiser BlogTV Gives Back was possibly a fraud. On Friday, we got back in touch with St. Jude Children's Research and spoke with the lead investigator and she tells us. "We sent out emails and letters a couple weeks back and still have not heard from anyone on this matter."We received an email from a person claiming to be the organizer of that fundraiser, asking us if we wanted to know the "story" behind the fundraiser. Well, we replied to the email saying, "yes" we want to know about it. Never heard back.We are told by another source, "Just because BlogTv puts in there TOS that the UGC is the responsibility of the broadcaster." and they have washed their hands of it they have no responsibility. WRONG BLOGTV just because you put a disclaimer on your web site DOES NOT free you of the responsibility of fraudulent fundraisers.
If life were so easy, all one would need to do is to put a sign on their car saying. "I don't have auto insurance, if we have a wreak, it's your fault." That is why websites like ebay and others will prosecute for people using their site for fraudulent purposes.

All in all St. Jude Children's Research is not going to let this go and neither are we, they have investigators on this case and we can't wait till we hear the out come.

The IRS will be interested as well for the fact when people give donations to Charity's, they are tax deductible. Looks like these people that held this fundraiser and BlogTv are in for a world of mess if they don't come clean.

BlogTv's Bogus LIVE now pages

Our only source to monitor the BlogTv rooms is the LIVE NOW pages, weeks ago we were thinking we were seeing double, as the last 2 pages of the LIVE NOW section of BlogTv were the same. This morning as we were doing our jobs, there were only 2 pages of shows on the LIVE NOW section. When we clicked to view page number two, it was just a copy of page one, with a couple of shows in different spots.We know there are alot of people not happy with the way BlogTv is ran and the moderation of the site. This is probably the reason for the return of the older broadcasters as there has been a huge lack of YouTubers broadcasting or anyone for that matter. So for BlogTv to make the site look more popular than it really is, they double the last pages of shows. How lame is that?!?The problem with BlogTv. They need to run the place like a real business get REAL people that have some business know how, hire a few moderators and stop with the "friends" and "family" that run the place, get rid of the harassment on BlogTv and they might be able to keep people around. But until then, they will be chasing the ol' mighty dollar until they run dry.
